Looks like what we call a "grub hoe". Still available (and handy)

Old people all ways call them a ( I Hoe ) . because it took a round handle. late 1800s early 1900s. i ment ( EYE Hoe ) it has a tapered EYE for the handle it slides in the front to back.

Or last week. The designs is still used and available (sometimes called a "Grape Hoe" as well).
