sorry for not posting the back..size etc.. I was dragging by the time I got home last night!! It was all i could do it get the stuff posted.. eat.. and go to bed!!! ;-) Getting old sucks!!!

This turned out to be a 1790s - 1820s US Diplomatic button

Here is the info:

**UPDATE** ID'ed as a U.S. Official & Diplomatic Button
1790-1820's
1pc. cast brass, 15mm
BM:"Blank"
Eagle facing right. The motto:"E Pluribus Unum" in ribbon above eagle. "United States of America" encircling.

I had posted a picture I should not have posted... but I did identify it like MB says... thats why the specified missing thinggy is there... sorry about that!
