Yes, it is from the Victorian era. The small 6 rounded dome areas were made to look like Marcasites. Marcasites were very popular during the Vic. period, and we often used in mourning jewelry. The blue stone looks to be unprofessionally cut; probably to replace the original stone that was lost or broken. Judging by the 4 opening on the east/west edges, I think it probably came off of a cloak or cape attachment.

Hey cjon,

Looks like glass to me, from out here in the cheap seats. Maybe natural light photos, would do it justice. Seems fractured and showing signs of opalescent devitrification from being buried, IMO.
