Not much to brag about this week. Had very little hunting time on the week end, so decided to try a new spot that looked promising. It did produce numerous coins, unfortunately most of them were not from the period I was hoping for.
My best finds of the week end were two Bust and Harp 1820 tokens laying in the same hole. They are far from being common over here and are pretty much in the same condition as when they were minted. Strangely, they were my first signal on that site and I haven't recovered anything that old for the rest of the hunt.
The rest of my day was spent recovering relatively new coins ranging from 1870-1962 with a good amount of silver
The next day went back for an hour in Blitz mode and managed to recover 4 more silver coins (my second and third Mercury since I started detecting)
And 1857 Upper Canada Halfpenny token in a good shape
Lots and lots of wheats and other early 1900's clad. Still satisfied with the hunt as those Bust and Harp tokens are in stellar shape.
Thanks for the comments.
