I have collected some shotgun shells from various home sites and I was wondering if anyone knows how old they are. I guess I am posting this in the right section sorry if it is not.

Your Sears shotshell head will date from the 1920's-1940's (This range is not set in stone, as I don't have access to much first generation sources).

The Western will date from 1927-32 to the 1960's. I am not sure of the beginning date as I have conflicting information from different sources.

You have some great finds. Shotshell heads are my favorite finds.
