Some Relics of Interest w Old Auto Assn Badge

Hello All. Hunted 3 small town city lots and adjacent curbstrips for these finds. Found the usual hardware, cosmetics, wheats, marbles, etc. with a brass comb, an old electric iron, a few unknowns, some OK glass, and an early (I think) automotive association badge.

The auto assn badge looked to be just a flat pc of thin brass till I got home and began to high grade junk from keepers. Turns out it is engraved "Southern Automobile Owners Association SAOA"...nice. Still not sure how old it is yet, will need to do more research to be sure. Any ideas??

Hello ATW. Thanks for the reply...your are correct, there's a Marble Forum on Tnet...never noticed it before. I have (50) or so marbles dug over the years, I'll have to post some of them. Good Luck out there. C9
