Not been on in a while, but figured I would post some recent finds I made in the last handful of hunts. The water finds are from friday when yes I did stumble over the 10lb Parrott Aquachigger dug...still always fun though. The glass were all broken and came from a pit that BillD and I got into back in April. Other pictures are from a few hunts just before all the fields got planted, including coins and flat buttons. Coins range from early coppers to capped bust and seated half dimes, to turn of the century.

Been a while since I posted, not had the chance to dig much since March, so figured I would play catch up.

great finds. looks like that flying eagle is in nice shape

Nice variety there Dan

By the looks of all those relics, and considering the types of sites you are hunting there in Virginia, I think you are due for a really exceptional find.

By the way, I think that is the largest basket weave pattern button I've ever seen.

Way cool! You and Aquachigger have got me wanting to hit the creeks around here!

Glad you're still gettin' out Dan. Sorry you missed out on that shell, but that's the way it goes sometimes. I haven't swung a detector in 3 weeks now, but have been plenty busy with other things including research for next fall as well as writing some articles about this past season's finds. Good luck to you and Beau.
