Still searching the block next to the railroad tracks. The engine tag has Cadillac Motor Car Company Detroit Mich.USA.There is a list of patents that range from Oct. 07,1902 thru June 22,1909.The last patent was the year the company was sold. There is a serial # and engine #.Not a bit of rust on it.The other one is a radiator emblem it has Dodge Brothers Detroit USA.I haven't a clue what the Keep Tight cap was used for but it has threads on the back.It is real heavy.I think it may be brass. The railroad key has NYCS.It stands for New York Central Systems. It is brass. My Indian heads are 1906 and 18?6,there is a pit in it so I cant read the third number. The token has NCO Mess .5 L.A.F.B Me. which stands for Loring Air Force Base.I believe the base is now closed. The muzzle ball came from the logging site.My friend told me it could be a 50 cal. but he wasn't sure.Well that's just a few of the more interesting finds and a bit of history.Happy Hunting and Keep your coil to the soil.

The Keep Tight thing is 11 1/2 " round. There is a hole down through the center. It could be a radiator cap off an old truck or something big.

The NCO mess tag could have been for Limestone AFB,Me which was changed to Loring in the mid 50's.I was there. You have some real nice finds there.WTG
