Relic Hunting
I was able to get out this weekend & do some civil war relic hunting. I didn't set the world on fire but did get some keepers. A soldier carved a shot bullet into a fishing sinker. The spots I hunted were only a quarter mile from the Antietam creek. Looks like fish was on the menu. Thanks for looking. HH TIM

Nice finds, at least you have a fire going. I'm still rubbing two sticks together, feel like I'm in one of those survivor shows. Looking forward to the day I get out.

Great finds, carved lead is my favorite. Wish people would post more.

NICE FINDS !!

Those are nice and I love "carved on" lead too. I got one I would love to post but but folks may think it crude and vulgar...d2

Lol they carved some interesting things out of bullets.

Carved lead is always cool to find.

I'd love to see it. Pm me a picture.

I'll have to dig for it buddy. I found it about 10 years ago. I know about where to look. Its a .69" minie that was carved. I took it in to show the owner of a detector shop in Gettysburg. He said that they were trying to make a turtle. :laughing7:
