Just some cool pics from this week.
We got shut down by rain for a day or two, but got a lot of testing done.
Figured I share.

#1 Some really handsome guy testing out the gold water gear for next month.


#2 Crazy pan... gold, big old nail, piece of barbed wire, bird shot, pretty little garnet, what else....


#3 Crazy if you look close. Pulled it off of bedrock, about 3ft under hardpack. Piece of metal now fused to rocks.
YES... the large rock at the bottom is also attached as well. Cool stuff.

I've heard it is worth crushing the rust conglomerations like that last pic as gold is often trapped in the rust too...have you tried that? I've been saving such things but haven't done any crushing yet myself.

It's still sitting on the bank I think.
Just thought it was cool looking and one of the guys saved it for me for when I came up.
Too tired at the end of the day to mess with it.
