Found these old military buttons and an intersteing name tag that says J.A. Erlanger.

Great finds.
That pin with the name on it is a hat pin.
In the June 2008 issue of western eastern
treasures in the "ask mark parker" the exact
same design was featured. It referenced it
between the late 1800s and the early 1900s.
The cost was estimated at $20 - 25.
Congratulations.
