some old goodies

I recently purchased and old home in the Caribbean. Inside, I found a few items of intrest. The silver thing, I think is some type of lobstering device. Norlund's Williamsport, PA USA is stamped on the side. The harpoon has a very sharp hinged tip I believe to be made from brass, but it could be bronze. The entire spear is roughly 7 ft tall. The wheel is about 3 feet across and was found in a crate. I also have one with brass lanterns on it. It's more than 5 feet across.
Any ideas on how old these things might be?

It's a spring-loaded frog gig or "grabber." Spread the jaws, push it onto the frog, and... Gotcha! We used to use these all the time, going frogging when I was a kid. Of course, I suppose they could be used to snap up all sorts of critters, not just frogs.
