My best old coin day by far. Twin 1910 Quarters a few feet apart. One near the knife. One IH and two V nickels, pretty much in the same hole. A couple of buttons, carriage manufacturer plate and Select Knights button. Never thought I'd have a day like this.

Agreed

Donkarlos , Could we please get some close ups of both sides of the high grade Barber ? It's a bit rare to see them in that shape .
Outstanding finds !

I know- one was worn way more than the other. Unfortunately the nice one has a scratch on Liberty's neck which I don't think I did because I cut an extra big plug on a hunch that it was an extra good signal. I can't complain, though.

Can you post more pics of silver a little closer?

What?! That Barber is insane! I'd love to see both sides. Did you do some sort of cleaning to it?

Sure I'll get a couple up tomorrow but here is one freshly dug. I almost like it uncleaned better as the dirt gave it some nice shading. You can see the one scratch on the neck.

cleaning: I only rubbed some baking soda on it for 20 seconds or so. Didn't need anything else.

I'm not sure. I still have it but it is the style of a barlow but much bigger than what I know barlow to be. It has wood sides (one side completely rotted off. The blade(s) are rust bound. It must have been in the same pocket as the worn barber.

That is an amazing coin!!!! Wish our soil was so forgiving!!!!!!!!!! Congratulations!!!

Sweet day!!

How often do barbers show up and then to find two on the same hunt, very Nice!!

Congrats!!

I agree, I like the dug look way better. If not an expensive coin, just warm water and a gentle toothbrush to loosen the dirt.

gorgeous barber. Well played.

Thanks all. Here are more photos which are tough because of glare, etc. I wish you all the same luck.
