Hello Tnet,
Went for a quick hunt yesterday and found some nice buttons and my first silver.

I got 2 of the same flower design buttons, and the other 2 are just round blank buttons.
They feel pretty heavy solid brass I would think.
Sorry for no comparisons they all are about 1cm in the width.

Any idea on how old these buttons could be ?

It says 10 cents 1906 its a dutch coin.

Just for added info they are all 'Sleeve Buttons'. Multiples went up each sleeve.

In the 3rd photo, button on the right has a different shank attachment. I believe that is a 1700's style, isn't it?

Probably, I'm only looking at the 2 flower types. The one you refer to is later & the one next to it maybe a plain Tudor type but hard to tell.
