First thing has a 1909 patent date. The ceramic thing or whatever that is I think came out of an old battery. And the third, I dont know, but I have found one of the round button looking things on top before, and was hoping someone might no what it is.

Also found these date nails, including another good 1903, which is great because I never thought I'd find another one that early. Also found another 1911, different than the last two I posted here on T-net in that it has a square shaft and a round head, and is about an inch longer than the other ones from 1911. The other photo is the square 1911 next to the 1903. Also a 1924 and a 1927.

The first held the wick to a lamp.

I think the ceramic piece held a cartridge fuse in an old safety shut off switch.
Congrats on some nice finds.

Safety shut off switch for what? Are we talking an engine or electrical power or something? Just wondering, and thank you.

sorry can't help, Nice finds though. it could be a sign to put the lottery on

I believe the numbers on the nails are industrial standard. Those are called precision nails indicating for its various application. Today's mark shows the bigger is the number or alphabet the stronger is the need for its application. The same goes to bolt and nut and type of thread.
For the round white piece, I believe it's a ceramic, ceramic can be used for electrical insulators or cast mould or even a heat sink device.

The iron wire thing is part of a stopper to an old soda or beer bottle.

Definitely a switch for a light. The wires went out the back of the ceramic plate.
