Outstanding coins there, Paul. They all look at least Gem BU to me, with some of them even prooflike. I didn't look up the prices, but I noticed that you have both 7 tail feathers and 8 tail feathers for the 78's. Did you get the 83 and 84 cc coins in the GSA sale some years ago? I got a couple of them from GSA, with a message from Pres. Nixon, but mine have a few bad bag marks on them. Yours have very nice surfaces. Congrats on a great collection.

Thanks a lot! All of them are indeed BU. The first coin is indeed an 1878 8TF, and happens to be a VAM 8 Stick feather. (Look at the over-polishing to the left of the bow on the reverse.) However, the second coin is an 1878-S that was only produced with a 7TF reverse.


I wish i was alive during the GSA sales, but unfortunately I'm only 18

The 1884-CC is indeed housed in a GSA box, but the 83-CC is not. I purchased that raw from a family friend and it is a beautiful MS-64 PL, by my eyes.

UNREAL!! You've got an INCREDIBLE collection of Morgans, especially for being 18 years old. That's just amazing!
BTW, you guys should think about watermarking your pictures so some thief doesn't use them to scam people

I would add a watermark, but I really don't have a good editing program...I use Picasa/Paint....lol
