I got a Garett ace 150 for Christmas this year and when there isn't snow on the ground I explore a beach near my house in Warwick Rhode Island I explore this whole beach and all my best finds, which are in the picture, have come from one particular spot within a 40 foot section I have found a bullet which is from the civil war. A 1870 shield nickel, a 1872 Indian heard cent, a 1876 dime, a 1905 barber head quarter, and a Victorian era key hole decoration. Also a Victorian era toilet paper holder or it could be a part of a Victorian era lamp

You are off to a good start.:icon_thumleft:

Great job and some very cool finds! I am impressed you got a V nickle so early in you MD career. Nickles are notoriously harder to find tan other change. It took me well over a year of detecting before i got my first v nickle. Hope you stay with the hobby and post some more of your finds here in the future. Your next step should be doing a little hisorical research and finding what mAde that little section of beach so great.

Me either, I posted about that piece and that's what information I got on it, I'm thinking its actually piece of a lamp, looks a little small to be a toilet paper holder

Kinda looks like the pin from a door hinge to me . . . would make sense seeing as how you also found a keyhole plate.
