Hello All. Hunted 2 small town lots for these items. Got an errant permission from the local cop on the 1st site and was ordered to leave by the owners. They turned out to be very nice old timers and turned me on to the other site where I found most of the goodies.

The big dial thing is a mystery but I am thinking it went to a thermometer?? Gotta do some research on the tokens...not sure of the origin or vintage.

Thanks for the view and Good Luck out there. C9

tokens are cool and yours are in great shape. nice to get new permissions. nice collection of relics

I love it when folks dig up so many interesting things and post them like this! Not just coins or jewelry, but pieces of history. Thank you Cambria - and congrats on a really nice set of finds! :occasion14:

The thermostat looks just like the one in my house that I grew up in as a kid...but the temps confuse me.
Perhaps from a basement boiler?

And as I've said before, your finds look like mine.....classic Florida relics.

That deodorant jar is nice. If flea markets were as big as they used to be, you'd probably have gotten $20 for it.

Hello Mzjavert. Yes I really like this jar especially with the lid intact. Looks like it is 40's or 50's. Found this ad. Thanks for the reply and Good Luck out there. C9

Right on BWD. It's tough to find stuff down here like the Nor'Easter's do but we do OK. Thanks for the reply and may the finds be with you. C9

Gosh Cambria, you sure do find the great sites to dig. I wish we lived closer together so that I could share in your booty....

I agree. While I am a coin shooter at heart I dig it all and try and share that variety letting newbies get a feel for what they can expect as they get started in this wonderful sport.:icon_thumright:

Great finds! I really like the Boy Scouts of America good deed token. Those were better days.
