Picked up a couple more pieces of sterling, adding on to the $3 bowl I found that other day 248 grams. I spent $8 on these spoons and got 75 grams worth of sterling. Gorham Rondo from 1951 and a Steiff spoon from 1970. However I have this very interesting CWF marked spoon. It is very flexible and it's made out of some type of metal.... not silver, but what? Any idea? Looks very old and I can't really make out what the decorative part stands for. Ideas?

That's pretty cool. Never seen anything like that with the exception of as a movie prop in the Matrix. the spoon is not real

Is it lightweight? Looks aluminum in color. How easy does it bend compared to the sterling? Could also be pewter but the color isn't right. Have you actually tested it for silver content?

Looks like Alpaca. Steiff made Sterling?

No it is clearly marked Sterling and from your link there earlier stuff was struggling so there's no doubt it's Sterling. All I ever see if Steiff is pewter

I had a pewter candle snuffer that would bend like that just by picking it up.
