Actually yesterday's finds, but my camera batteries needed charging, and that took all night. Anyway, a few more things from an old mining camp nearby, including a neat old miner's check tag, some old shotgun shells, a tack loop, knob insulator, little RR spikes, some rifle casings, and so forth. The larger rifle casing is a WRA Co. 38-56, first for me. The other is a UMC .30.06 casing with what looks like a July 1910 date on the bottom. That round rusty thing says "Uncle Sam Telegraph" on it and the little buckle says "Vernallo" or something like that, but its very small. Does anyone know more about this stuff?
Also pulled that 1925 date nail from a railroad tie/fence post near the old mines.
