Hi all. This is my first post for findings. I can not find my digicam. Maybe I left it in a hole somewhere. Anyway when I do find it (translation: buy another one) I'll post some pics.

Today I went to the Brazos river and MD'd a while to no avail. Got some pennies and some stone carvings that look like weapons and a tooth. looks like a molar from soething but it is not from a cow. to big for a cow. wifey suggested a camel, as the southern ports here in texas were famous for importing camels for a while. the root and dentin are rock hard but the tooth is still white and gray. neat find anyway. sorry i dont have any merc or barber stories. i'll need to cover more ground for those.

i dug up some wheaties from ole' backforty 28 and 29 are the oldest and a couple of old 50' model toy cars.

I don't know about southern ports, but I do know I had to rub my eyes on my maiden drive near Amarillo - missed a turn, ended up following some section lines, and right outside of Electra, I saw a herd of camels .......that was back in October of 1999.

Good luck on finding the camera!
