i got out this morning to the banks of the bradywine river,to a spot that was fairly popular back in the day.according to the oldest tree carving i found, people used to frequent this spot in the early 50s. didnt get much but i also didnt stay long.

the best find was a 1917 wheat
i also found a quarter and two dimes all clad. not much but hey.......... its almost new years!!

At least you got to get out for a while. And wheat is always good to find !

Just getting out detecting is half the fun of it and you found a few keepers! HH, Mike

hey finds are finds. at least your out there. where im at its to cold and snowy to detect. i hate winter

thanks for the nice replies everyone. the day was far more productive scouting out new spots to hunt than it was for coin finds.(although the wheatie was nice). i spotted a couple of new prospects while out hiking in the countryside. happy new year to you as well!!

You did much better than I did today red!

Quick hunt at the park and two nickels and a dime! :D

Congrats on the wheatie!!!

~Happy New Year~
