Just thought it to be a better use for chips than a bucket hidden in the garage...
These sold at shows last year. Nice bidding war on bear claw was what established the range. Value is subjective... Art is publicity...

I welcome everyone to do one themselves - surely everyone has tons of chips and vision. Just a matter of taking the time - you might be impressed with what someone give for something like this. Peace!

That's pretty cool you have a talent

Are those under glass, glued, both or what? Thanks.
TDog, no glass. every piece is held by a dap of a really good silicone - Lexel clear that has a decent working time. All overlap so you see nothing but rock.

And what is your backboard?
Smokey, its on backer board, kinda like rough paneling. The track one has regular art mat with clear lacquer with sand added on top for texture - center, the same, painted over white.

Is that pottery? You wrote chips which would mean debatage from knapping to me. Just wonderin. Nice work. Gives me an idea for my bucket of stuff.

Jon - yes the two horizontal lines in top one, the whole thunderbird and whole bear paw are pottery sherds - palm of paw was of one pot as it lay. All the other colors are chips from knapping and flaking - all found in the wild- so one squat for every single chip... Good exercise! They all represent hundreds of miles of walking and driving- and likely 1000 hours of looking... Heck, just sorting colors took days...
