I don't think it's food grade, the two pedal lookin things seem to hold a glass jar of some sort jar. Possibly oil or something. If it said universal surge or delaval, dairy would fit. But it only says midget. I've never seen any dairy items that say midget.

Could be a mister for use in the textile industry or sewing hall. I have alot of antique oilers, but never seen one like this. Tony

The ball may act as a float to shut something off. A water separator would have a draincock at the bottom. Interesting device.

That could be, midget did make sewing machines. Don't really know anything about sewing machines or what a mister is though. Is there anything similar I can look up?

Maybe someone used the legs to a Midget sewing machine and made a this cool contraption .

If its homemade it's a really nice job. I may have to take it apart, fix any broken parts, reassemble and see what the heck it does.
