Found this in a park in New York , it had a loop on it , but it broke off , it's kind of heavy and is about 2 inches round looks like some casting metal ?? Any ideas

Another possibility is a horseharness rosette. Did you save the loop which you said broke off it? If so, please post a photo of the loop, and show how it was oriented on the back of the disc.

The loop was at the top above holes you can see part of the loop still there , loop part was flat . This item driving me nuts lol
