I vote for a petrified o'possum anus!? Back in? the stoneage they collected them and made them into necklaces.? Sometmes, stoneage man not being too bright didn't wait long enough and the o'possum was still attached.? This caused many nasty bites and scratches, resulting in infections and the average life span of only about 32 years.? Apparently it happened a lot?? Sometimes if they had fire available they would attach the o'pposum to the necklace and lean over the fire pit to let the o'possum dangle from his anus into the fire which resulted in the discovery of cooked meat.? This discovery raised the average life span to 32.5 years except for the dangler who usually got an infection from the burns on his face and upper torso and died.? ?Which led to the first known incidence of cannibalism because gee, why waste cooked meat?? If that isn't what it is then I haven't a clue.? It still looks gross.? Oh, and P.S......Don't try this at home!? ?::)? JIM

Jimmy, you are hilarious. I think you should write a column for the newspaper or a book. You give Dave Barry a run for his money.

Sorry, Jake. I can't help you on that anus shaped object.

You need to clean it up and see if it looks like this. I found this container on a Victrola Talking Machine full of rusted needles.

Could that be an ink well? I have seen on before, but can't seem to place it. One day it will pop into my head and you will get a strange PM from me that says "It's a muffler bearing for a jet airplane." or something to that effect! ;D

Definitely not that :-\? This thing is less than an inch tall.
I guess not. Mine is 1-1/16 inch tall. But how did you know?
I apologize for being sarcastic. When I push the top on tight, it IS less than 1 inch tall and about the size of a golf ball. The needles in pic are old phonograph needles; before your time. Is it worth taking another look?

[ /quote] Probably not, unless it has rusty phonograph needles inside.
