I finally received an email back from someone with "Jadestone Gallery". Pasted below is what he had to say...


""What you have appears to be a garment hook in the form of a ruyi scepter. The central figure is Lu Xing, one of the 3 lucky gods. The material is probably nephrite jade or some sort of substitute. It has been intentionally stained to give the appearance of age, however the item itself is contemporary. It is the type of object being sold in China today.""

I will keep you updated if I learn anything more.
