These are some shots from my trip to Durango and Around the SW part of Colorado I'm on this week. I headed over Wolf Creek pass about 7:PM the night before and coming down the west side I believe I see a Sasquatch way up high on a ridge. That's the only shot I got of it, as it made a loud bloodcurdling scream and then disappeared out of sight. The other shots are a place called Slick Rock Hill, north of Egnar, Colorado. I stopped there to eat my lunch I picked up in Dove Creek and ate my lunch over looking a place called Disappointment Valley. Down in the valley is the Dolores River. It's really peaceful and quiet up there and when you go down the hill and into the valley below you really then see why it got the name Disappointment Valley. It's a pretty open and bleak place to be down in that valley. Back some years ago I would visit all the small operating uranium mines down in there along numerous little canyons all over and throughout this valley.

That stream is at the base of Treasure Falls named for the lost gold these French miners recovered back in 1799 and all but one or two of the party made it back out alive with a tail of the gold they hid in the mountains of Colorado. Maybe they were all killed by one of these mountain monsters. :dontknow:
