That is a very nice arrowhead. Better have it looked at. Might not be one that was made just a few years ago. I have found
one iron arrowhead here in S. Korea.....definately an older one, by a hundred years or so. Mine was smaller than yours, though.
Yours almost looks like a spear point. Let me know what you find out, please.

most definitely very unusual

Not knowing your location, I would bet it is a piece of the old copper culture and it would not be an arrowhead but would be a small spearpoint. These items date from 3000 to 12000 years old! If this is the case you have a very valuable item and a terrific find!!

Looks to be Iron, Is it ? I'd take that anyday :icon_thumleft:

If it is iron, it probably came from the Spanish
traiding with Indians.

Indians would take a flat piece of iron or steel
and shape it to a point.

Some points were fashioned by the Spanish and
traided to the Indians. But most was just flat
steel stock. Low grade.

Before that there was some copper that was used
where certain types of copper ore was located.

The Spanish supplied stuff started in the 16th
century, and Indians made metal tools and
weapons from then on. It was much better
than stone.

Great find,

Happy Huntin,

I also have found a piece of iron shaped into an arrowhead. Although mine looks more flat. I'll try to post a pic when I can.
