Some Clad and an Old Knife....How Old Is It???

Went to an old house with the permission of my neighbor, he lived there with his parents back in the 1950's. The only old item, which I think I found, is an old knife which seems to say:

Kutmaster
UTICA N.Y.
Made in U.S.A.

(I went ahead and cleaned the blade to see the engraving)

How old can it be?

Those are some good looking finds, based upon your picture and the calculated rust-rate, I'd guess at the knife at around 1965 - 1967.

This model is the same used for both Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts,however,those knives always had the emblem on them.I would say late 50's.Approximate value,$8-15.

is there a boy scout shaped symbol on the flip side?---that is just like the ones we used in the early 70's when I was a scout---if no symbol might be the "non-boy scout" civilan "camping" model--good little knive,quite useful if I remember correctly. Ivan

I dug up one just like it once...it was my own! It was lost in the woods for 2 years.

If it has the Wolf emblem on the other side it's a Cub Scout knife..I got mine in 1969 and that one looks to be from that era.
