Top two sometimes referred to as a nipple button.

Daryl, the top two are not nipple buttons, those buttons are entirely different and date from the mid1600s. I am currently researching those buttons known as dimple/pimple/nipple in hopes of finally solving one of my unsolved What Is It. (Possible nipple button mold)

I know that. That why I said that they are sometimes called nipple buttons. People find them and that's what they look like and they call them that.

Sorry for the confusion but that's life in the field.
