[SOLVED!] Unknown coin (It has the year 1178 or 178 in arabic/indian numbers)

Hello everyone,

I had this coin for a long time ago, I got it from my father who doesn't remember where he got it from.

The coin is curved and I think it has the year 1178 or 178 written on it in arabic or indian numbers, here:

This side has a weird shape:

This is the size of the unknown object or coin:

Can you please tell me what this is?

Welcome to Treasure Net !!
If it were an Arabic date (1178), that would convert to 1800 AD.
I'd need some convincing before I would agree it's a coin.

Yeah people told me that, but I'm not sure what's written on it, the letters look like arabic but I'm not sure. Could be an old stamp or something..

And the back side is still confusing me.

Correction: If it was arabic date, then it will be 1765 AD :thumbsup:

Thanks a million! I've been searching all day and no luck!

This looks just like mine, same writings and year. The only difference is that mine has metal in it (or made out of metal), unlike the others..

Do you think it's worth something? And how old is it?
