✅ SOLVED Solved: Old cans, lids, jars etc.

Old canning jar lids, old cans, old lids, glass inserts, old beer can tops etc. I was wondering what the age of some of these might be, there is one that says "Mentholatum" and The big food can says, "G A F" I know it isn't worth anything; not looking for value just age to help me determine what else I may find in the areas I found some of this stuff.

Those milk glass inserts are lids for canning jars. Pop top cans are '60's.

Cannot tell you about the cans, but the bottles appear to be from the 50's-60's. can you get pictures of the bases and tops?

The Pepsi bottles are mid 60's. Not sure about the other bottle, but it looks like it could be a Red Stripe.

The zinc canning lids were made for a long stretch from the late 1800's to the 30's or 40's I believe. So, you can't nail those down too specifically, but it looks like your site has a wide date range of things to find.

Thank you for the replies, I appreciate you sharing your knowledge. Someone sent me a link that showed me how to date the Pepsi bottles, and they are dated 1961, 1967 and 1968.

I thought I had a photo of the brown bottles bottom, but I can't find it. I will take some photos when I round them up again.

Thanks for giving me the thoughts on the ages of things I might find on this site.

Curious about the "G A F 30" does anyone know what that means?
