Hello! Found an old mourning locket. I can date the locket to 1919, but not sure about the uniform on the man in the picture. Anyone know what country and what date this uniform is from? Thanks!

To me the picture looks like he is wearing a belt around the jacket. That should date him to at least as far back as WWII. That looks to be a carbine he is holding but I don't know weapons enough to know what kind it is.
The rifle is an 03 Springfield, The uniform style is post WW1 and was first issued in 1926, and stayed in service until 1956, my guess is that your photo would date to the earlier end of those dates because the 03 rifle was a lot less common during and after WW2, and also the belt was removed in the early 40's
