Solid Shot Identification Help please

I usually only collect paper items but have a love of Texas History and came across these recently. They were found while surface hunting arrowheads on a ranch just south of Gonzales, TX. I don't know the weight of them yet as I don't have them in hand but the photo should give you a good idea of size.

Any information would be a huge help,

I received the balls today. I'm a little dubious. The diameters and weights are as follows:

1. 2.07 (1.958 was a mistake) - 21.5ozs

2. 1.43 - 7.25ozs

3. 1.273 - 4.8ozs

4. 1.114 - 2.65ozs

5. 1.035 - 2.1ozs

6. 0.95 - 1.8ozs

Any help would be appreciated.

Can anyone tell me where I can get information on these? I am trying to decide if I should keep them or return them to the seller. I sent a message to thecannonballguy and no response. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The first thing to do is research what happened in that area. They could be from the Mexican American War, the history of the area will give you a better idea.
