Solid roll club 19th time. Odd find though!

While picking up halves at my normal pickup bank yesterday i had them pull together all the hand rolled dimes they had. Ended up being $270 worth. Much to my suprise when i open one of the rolls and see a 1965 canadian silver proof dime on the end. Poured them out gently and sure enough, my first solid foreign roll Silver find. All were 1965 proofs. How in the world did i stumble upon that lol

That is very unusual and really cool. I don't recall anyone ever posting finding a solid roll of foreign silver. And I don't think I've ever even found one foreign silver yet myself. Btw, do you mean that's your 19th solid silver roll you've found crhing?

Yeah my 19th solid silver roll overall. It was very suprising and unusual. Must of been stolen and cashed in.

19 solid rolls is really great. I believe I've found 5 solid rolls myself - my first being a solid cwr of Ben's about 5 years ago, 3 solid cwr's of Ben's and Walkers about 3 years ago and a solid cwr of '68D Ken's about 2 1/2 years ago. It's difficult to say how or why collections get dumped at banks. I've heard different theories of coins possibly being stolen or maybe a vengeful/angry girlfriend or wife cashing if their boyfriends or hubby's coin collection. Could be a variety of different reasons. Whatever the reason, other people's loss is our gain.

No pics I also have never heard of such a thing and would imagine that it's super rare these days and even before the boom. What part of the country are you in?

Not of all of us don't believe you, just a amazing and scarce find. In the 5 years I have been coming here I have never heard of it. and would love to see. Pay no attention to smarty pants here. But would also would like to know the city or at lease the area. I imagine it's a border state
