Nice. My guess would be it is not junk. Most commemeratives are silver. Maybe it is gold plated silver commemerative. :icon_scratch:
What does it say on the eagle coin? The backs?

Tinpan, can u put something in the picture for size or tell us?

Better yet weigh it. E-Bay says its between a dime and a nickel. I thought it was larger.

the 2 i have are as the E-bay site says Between a dime and a nickle and very thin too

Yes, a very cool gift. They may have made them in different sizes because the link I found said they were .42 ounce.
