✅ SOLVED Solid brass fitting or connector?

Found in clear cut wooded area, solid brass, bored out, medium patina. Looks like a small hose nozzle. Help appreciated– thank you!

Barbed pipe or hose fitting.

Yep, hose barb.

I looked at a ton of pictures and this is the closest one I found. I am assuming that there is a slip nut that goes over the barb side and against the shoulder to secure the hose to what ever it is feeding or draining. https://www.dixonvalve.com/products/group/Female NPSM Swivel x Hose Barb Ball Seat
