✅ SOLVED Soldiers with weapons

Found yesterday at sawmill ghost town (1881-1929), thought it was a name plate off machinery, but can see two soldiers, one with a gun and another with larger gun, cannon pointed skyward. 1897 Indian found for size.

It looks like half of a lead soldier mold.

Yup, half a toy soldier mold. They used to sell molds and casting kits so kids could cast up their own toy soldiers. I had one from the 1930s that had an electric lead melter that had a gate to pour the molten lead into the molds.
