A couple of friends and I hit Logan again today. I didn't find much, but it could be indicative of how our WWI soldiers spent their off-time...

The two similar round items are the bottoms of Merry Widows (condoms) containers.

Elizabeth Arden started in 1908...kind of curious about how old the lipstick tube is. Judging by how encrusted it was it looks like it had been there for quite a while.

The buckle is from a rifle sling.

My friends each found an eagle button (one small, one large) and one found a wheat.

Was a fine day for detecting.

It is hard to imagine my great-grandmother out whoring in the woods.

Or being young, carefree, and in love, depending on how you want to look at it.

;D ;D :o :o :o :o

Dang it Plehbah... now that's just a bad visual in my mind. :-\
Reminds me of the joke about "relative humidity".

Cool, you beat me to it. Last fall I found a similar spot by my house in the woods, got a u.s. collar disk a merry widow can and two wheaties all together. I think they used the merry widows to cover the ends of their rifle barrels to keep the rain out.haha :D
