I lost my little gray chihauhau Monday July 14th.....we got him when we lived in Texas as a Easter present for my wife in 2000....he was a little blue(gray) chihauhau so little but so full of spirit...named him Smokey for his smoky gray color....He was my little boy...followed me everywhere...ate what I ate...sat with me in my recliner and whenever I got up and grabbed the detector, he knew we were headed outside to find some goodies...he started scratching around in the yard and I decided to pass the coil over it and see...found 2 silver dimes in that spot...he loved to tag along with me....When I moved back to Arkansas we lived across the street from wife's aunt...she had a chihauhau that was left to her after her mother passed....they both became buddies and couldnt stand to be apart....so we left him there and still saw him all the time....he had a very unique personality....he was very protective of me and wife's aunt....he passed quickly and easily in his favorite recliner...he had gotten out of bed with wife's aunt and made one last jump to his favorite spot and laid down....she woke up and found him and called us to let us know....I have cried on and off for the last 11 days....I miss him so bad....I go over there and wait for him to come running but then I realize he is not coming to get me to rub his belly.....

I am sorry for Your loss, those who do not keep animals can never know the meaning of true devotion..
I hope You will find another Dog and undestand it will never replace Smokey,
Strange how things work out,I lost a Cat(Muhlan) recently after seeing it thru a broken leg,and Yes I grieved.
But a stray came up within a few days Needing a good home.It isn,t Muhlan it is Plato ,and what a personality it Has...
Thank You for Your sentiments.
Respectfully,Monte
