Old wood, old metal and more wacko theories.....So far in the latest series what have they really found?

If they find more coconut coir, it has to mean that the Templars put it there!... I got tired of all the Knights Templar theories with absolutely no evidence on Oak Island for the theories.
I wish they would find something real but I don't think they will...

Thanks for the update. I watched every show till this year. I got sick of the announcer ? I got sick of the so called experts. I got tired of all the wasted time like when they explored a well and found a modern quarter. I got tired of them looking twice for the 90 ft stone and then they think they have it, and then they don't. By the way, "Gold Rush" now claims it is the most watched show.
Is that because the Templars held monopoly with their coconut coir cartel? Not necessarily, it could actually only mean "Templars had been there".
An inaccurate calculation of the ratio of C12 to C14 could cause the date of the coir to appear much older than it actually was.Is that because the Templars held monopoly with their coconut coir cartel?

the error coming from using the C14 uptake rate based upon terrestrial organisms without taking into account the aquatic environment.
the coir most likely dates from the 1600’s, more in line with the tree ring dating of Oak found on the island, thus no Templars.........sorry Gary
Not surprised, whatever “info” supports your wild theory, for your information, Beta Analytics does not develop or create the C14 uptake data used to calibrate C14 dating results, their conclusion is only as accurate as those calibration curves for C14 uptake.Hmm, your "An inaccurate calculation ... could" sounds rather spurious, I think I will accept the work of Beta Analytic!
Cheers, Loki

Also, all of the other evidence as well as the Oak tree ring dating concur with a date around 1650, but lets go with the 1300’s dating of the C14 coconut fiber, that makes more sense.....
