So excited! Found in a coin roll on EBAY!

Sorry about the pic... I have tried to post pic's before and I just cannot figure it out - the files are always too large.
One day I will figure it out

Ordered 2 'unsearched' penny rolls on EBAY - paid $4.00 a roll.
Got a 1914d penny - coin book says it is $135.00 in the worst condition. WAHOO!

I had a blast going thru the coins last night!

Great find. As was stated already, those are probably the only true unsearched rolls of coins on eBay; though hundreds are advertised as such.

Enjoy the rush ! (and see if they have any more you can order)

Yes - the seller has many more rolls. He inherited the estate of this older man who he did odd jobs for.
I would be happy to share. Can I post his EBAY name?
I will warn everyone though - the prices are going up. I think when he started this people bought some for fun for $4.00 or so a roll, then they found it was truly unsearched and they are going back for more.

Stacy: I hope you didn't tell him about the 14D! He's liable to stop selling at all! Buy all you can before it;s too late! Joe

I did not tell him specifically what I got, but there are many people who did and they got amazing pennies and nickels.

Was it by the seller "muchocents"

I ordered a roll from him a day ago.. cant wait!

Read the first 10 pages of feedback for him carefully. Lot of people said it looked like the coins had been rolled yesterday in a new wrapper. If they are all "truly unsearched," how would he know they are all dateless in a particular roll? ??? And some rolls he can tell you what years the dates are from? ??? And if he got all of the coins from an old man he was doing chores for, gee whiz, did the old man own a bank? That would be a horde like no other practically, with all the feedback he has for those coins. :P
Skeptical here.

I did notice the bank rolls were new.... however I can assure you that I found that coin in there as well as others in the teens. Maybe the guy just sorted them and had them rolled. Clearly he has no interest in coin collecting - and by the looks of it, he had so many to go thru. He is definitely making money on the lot - at 5.00 or more a roll.

Regardless, it is fun.... and pretty cheap. Keeps me out of trouble when I cant go out MD'ing!!
