✅ SOLVED snuff tin

Found a top to a snuff can on my property which is atop an old confederate campsite. It doesn't photograph well but it has the words snuff at the top and fresh since 1822 on the bottom. Partial letters are Cop which I take to be the Copenhagen tobacco company. It has a diamond with the letters C and W inside of it. I found that the company changed its name to the US Tobacco in 1922. Can anyone help me narrow a possible date for this . Thanks

Yeah, I know a photo would have helped but it was too rusted to show any words. You could only see them in sunlight and if it was slanted. Thanks anyway.
