Hey all,

It's not raining in Seattle for the next week but it is cold out. I strapped my headlamp on and got out for a short hunt after work a block away hitting some sidewalk strips. I only did about half the section I wanted and found a few promising items:

-3 wheat cents (49-S, 54-D, 58-D)
-A Seattle schools token (can't find info for it anywhere)

Anyone know what the piece of metal with the buffalo on it is? Seems like it's an ornate piece off an old toy gun or something.

Happy hunting folks!

Maybe from a toy rifle?

The wheats were good to you for a short hunt. The piece does look like it could of come from a toy rifle.

I think you are both right. Just found this image of an old Davy Crockett cap gun rifle.

If you zoom in you'll see the buffalo.

Nice finds, congratulations! :occasion14:
