cooper I feel your pain. I've been hunting for the last three Weeks. I'm close to Detroit. Almost three inches here where are you from? The little weather break the last month let me find a handful of wheats and my first three silver dimes.

I know! I wanted to go out and hunt this weekend, I wake up this morning look outside and SNOW...Ugh. I'm so over the winter now...I was able to go out last weekend and that's when I found the gold ring and wheatie. Does anyone hunt in the snow?

Yep going to go out and shovel in a little bit.
Ground was still kind of frozen last week and didn't really have the time to get out. Figured this weekend would be much better, guess I was wrong! Oh well next weekend is spring, so the dirt fishing season is nearby.

ya the way I look at it the warm weather is on the way. So far the detecting I've done was a chance for me to get used to my new detector. Can't wait for the 60 degree days of spring

I have been beach hunting the last week, The sand is very diggable, compared to dirt/topsoil, still lots of ice at the waters edge.

I downloaded a map of a meteor debris field. Looks like your area would be a good spot.
