Well had another 5in. snow last night. So only thing to do is hit the old beach. Did not disappoint with 2 more silver WQ's 2 more silver Mercs a Buff and a headless lead Indian. It's really nice finding so much silver on the beach lately, but I'm beginning to forget what the shiny stuff looks like. Can't Wait for the snow to be gone.
Heres a video I did last year at this beach with a little bit of history about it and you will see why there is so much silver there and I know there is more gold there deep.

Not to shabby Well done

Nice finds, is there any way to clean the crud off them coins? That salt water really messes them up.:dontknow:

I tried using the baking soda method with no luck. I think I will have to get a tumbler and try that next

Is it the salt water that does in the silver or is it the sand and waves pounding them? Gary

Most of these coins are about 7 to 9 inches down in the sand close to the water level line in the sand. They have been soaking deep in the sand 60+ years
