Hit a new spot today. I know its been hunted before. I've seen the guys out there swinging in the past. I have noticed that the turf is being removed recently and thought I would give it a try. The site dates to the 1890's. First problem is that the areas where the turf is removed is a MUB BOG! NO GO there so I stuck to the old turf. Lots of clad quarters down to seven inches >:(. I only had two hours to hunt so I stuck to the deepy signals. The silver dimes were all at 8 or 9 inches and the quarter was slighty deeper. I will be back SOON! Nothing old, though I did get my silver fix as I havent been out for about 3 weeks. Cr@ppy winter storm heading my way soon :-X. It was good to get out and dig some silver! Looks like I will have to go SLOOOW to find the silver here.

Rebel,
What is that Indian looking piece with the bird? Part of a bracelet?
That is an awesome piece!

Sorry, forgot to mention the silver piece. It appears to be part of a bracelet. I have found a few silver pieces like this over the years. Some type of southwest/thunderbird silver theme that must have been popular in the 30’s through 50’s as that seems to be the era of the era of the coins you find them with.
