Could be a snap. It sure looks old.

What is the size? Can we see a pic of the edge with something to judge thickness?

I'm guessing it is a snap off a ladies glove. Turn of the 20th C.

I believe the figure at the top of the button/snap in the first post may be a Liberty Bell. Since you are in South Jersey a Philadelphia connection is not beyond reason, yes? Are the letters a reversed "R" and a "G" or "C"?

The symbol in the center of the other side appears to be a cup or chalice...thoughts?

Hope I've added something of value to aid in research...Batch
