Not sure of value, but that's a beautiful specimen... :icon_scratch: I'd guess over $100 easy though.... :dontknow:

Keep @ It and HH !! :hello2:

look on ebay at what they sell for

20-50 if that. There is too much damage to the crystal for it to be worth much more then that. If you mined it yourself id hit up that location though and see if you couldn't get some fully terminated undamaged crystals. They could be worth some cash. It could be cut into cabs or facets, but it would depend on how bad the damage is internally.

It's worth whatever you can get for it...

To me, it's worthless in terms of a cash value. I have found hundreds of perfectly euhedral, clear terminated smoky quartz specimens, and only the finest did I ever attempt to trade or sell at the well known Denver Gem and Mineral Show... A clear, terminated 4" smokey on Albite matrix might fetch $25-$40 to an educated buyer.

You basically have a bulk sample of fractured/cloudy smokey quartz, no termination, with a couple of very poorly formed crystal faces. Of little to no value monetarily, but would make a nice conversation piece on your front porch.

Ask yourself, if I was trying to sell that to you, what would you pay for it?

Nice find!

Other than that, not worth anything.
